DMC Coton Perle Pearl Cotton
This
100% twisted cotton owes its brilliance and attractive pearly shimmer
to a double mercerization process, which makes its supple, silky and easy
to work with. It is suitable for sewing on a wide variety of fabrics,
and for all embroidery stitches, especially straight-stitch, stem-stitch
and chain-stitch, because of its textured effect.This thread is ideal for smocking, Hardanger emroidery and huck weave embroidery. It can also be used for making cords, pompons
and braids. It is available in morethe 300 different colors, including
metallic gold and silver, in skeins or balls of different sizes. DMC Pearl Cotton is particularly resistant
to light.

material: Finest 100% long fiber cotton. During the manufacturing process,
the thread is combed, singed by flame and the double mercerised.

colours: n° 5 = 115 shades; n° 8 =238 shades;
n° 12 = 40 shades
wash & care: Take into account the fabric onto which
the embroidery floss has been stitched. Preferably use a mild soap
at all times. After washing, wrap the embroidery in a towel
to remove excess water, then dry flat. Place the embroidery
on a clean cloth, preferably while still damp, and iron on the reverse
side, at the temperature setting recommended
for the fabric.

to the meters per gram eg n° 3 = 3 meters per gram whilst n° 5

whereas n° 12 is the finest size
