3. Entries must use DMC threads and local or foreign DMC patterns or Stitch-A-Picture patterns with minimum design size of 8” x 10” for any fabric count.

4. Participants should post album/photo of their progress in the group page every 25th of the month (close-up and whole view). Photos of chosen pattern and DMC threads to use at the start of the project should be included as well.

5. DMC will check every album/photo to ensure that every entry is new, and is stitched by the contestant.

6. Submit finished entries together with pattern and DMC thread skeins with color code in a plastic tube on or before November 15, 2013 to Focus Global Inc. Pioneer Corner Reliance Sts., Mandaluyong City.

7. Valid entries will be judged by the
following criteria:

Quality of Work : 50%
*Neatness, techniques and proper way of
stitching.

Creativity : 30%
*Enhancement of design & accessorizing (use of beads, special threads, and the like)

Overall impact : 20%

8. Judging of entries will be on November 18, 2013, at the Focus Global, Inc. Head Office.

9. Top 3 entries will be chosen to win the cash prizes (tax paid) plus a DMC Artist Awardee for 2013 plaque.

First Prize : P30,000
Second Prize : P15,000
Third Prize : P10,000

10. Next top 20 works will be chosen to be included in DMC Artist Awardees for 2013.

11. Winners will be notified by call and registered mail.

12. Cash prizes and plaques will be awarded on the winners’ exhibit. Top 20 plus the 3 winners’ works will be framed for exhibit purposes.

13. All entries shall be returned to the owner within 6 months to 1 year.

The event was kicked off with the Resident Chef showing the guests how to creatively serve Pita with a variety of dips such as Tzatziki, Hummus and Skorthalia. Good refrigeration is key to making dips last without sacrificing the freshness and taste, and this is effortless with Sub-Zero’s superior food preservation technology.
