The Management Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting business unit leaders and management in making critical business decisions by preparing, analyzing and presenting key financial data and metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create monthly, annual, or long-term cost projections and trend analysis and expenditures.
- Collect and analyze data on operational costs and make recommendations on the company’s processes and policies to help reduce cost and maximize profit
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Logistics team and the Marketing & Product Management team to formulate the most accurate importation costs for the trading business
- Regular analysis and reporting to drive product and business decisions
- Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
What we’re looking for:
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Mathematics or other related degrees
- CPA License is an advantage
- Ideally have at least one year of experience in management accounting or cost accounting
- An excellent communicator: We speak quickly and act quickly. Concise, easily understood, and thorough; Effective both in written format (emails, messages) and in person
- A quick learner and very open to feedback
- Love adopting new technology and software tools (e.g. Google Suite, Slack, Asana, Xero, etc.)
- Proactive: Takes initiative and follows up of your own accord; Never lets an item drop
- Organized: Loves documentation; Extremely organized with files
- Analytical and Data Driven: Metrics driven and performs second-level thinking (analyzing trends, root cause, etc.)
